Pediatric Pads II for the use of Zoll AED Plus. The Pedi-Padz II has an 18-month shelf-life.
Intended Purpose
To transfer energy for de brillation, cardioversion, non-invasive pacing therapy to the heart and provide ECG monitoring.
Indications for use
For use on pediatric patients with ZOLL® AED Plus®, AED Pro®, AED 3®, AED 3® BLS, R Series®, X Series®, X Series®Advanced and Propaq® MD. The pedi-padz II electrode are indicated for use on a patient less than 8 years of age or weighing less than 55lbs(25kg). For patients over 25 kg, adult electrodes are recommended. Do not delay therapy to determine actual weight of patient during emergency.
Instructions for Use
1. Wipe skin dry.
2. Apply electrode by attaching one edge securely to the patient and “rolling” smoothly from that edge to the other. Be careful not to trap any pockets of air between the gel and the skin.
3. Connect electrodes.
4. Connect ECG leads for demand pacing.
OPERATING TEMPERATURE: 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F)
SHORT TERM STORAGE TEMPERATURE: -30°C to 65°C (-22°F to 149°F)
LONG TERM STORAGE TEMPERATURE: 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F)
