The padded arm of the sling provides comfort and support for the resident/patient. The sling's leg supports are padded, but narrow to enable clothing to be removed easily. Careful resident/patient assessment is strongly recommended as the nature of this sling means there is less fabric to give support compared to a general purpose sling and it may not be suitable for patients with poor upper or lower body tone. These toileting slings are designed to be used with Arjo patient lifts and transfer aids. With these lifts, caregivers are able to conveniently and safely move patients from beds and wheelchairs, providing an easy path to dignified toileting and bathing.
