The Loop toilet sling - padded legs is a special-purpose design intended for toileting, dressing and undressing patients.
Selecting the most appropriate sling is important to ensure that it is suitable for the patient/resident, for the type of transfer required and compatible with the lift being used. The use of patient handling equipment such as mechanical lifts with the appropriate sling is a core component of a safe patient handling program.
The toilet sling has been designed for easy and efficient access to residents/patients clothing for dressing and undressing in connection with toileting routines for passive transfer of those with limited mobility.
- The leg pieces of the sling are padded for comfort and narrow to enable clothing to be removed easily
- The cushioning positioned under the patient's/resident's arms aim to provide comfort and support
- The sling provides head support and can also be equipped with a safety belt around the upper body for extra security
This sling should only be used together with Arjo passive lift systems in accordance with the allowed combinations page on the specified section of the Instructions for Use.
