Grounding Pad Pk/5: Return electrodes are used to safely remove electrosurgical current from the patient. Bovie® disposable, single-use return electrodes are manufactured with an adhesive hydrogel for secure patient application as well as reusable return electrode cables and disposable pads to the ESU. Bovie® recommends always using a split pad for maximum patient safety. In addition, Bovie® provides active cables and an adaptor for the connection of a variety of compatible electrosurgery accessories.
