Arjo large standard wipe down standing sling is made of "Dartex" covered foam padding which is an impervious vinyl that can be truly disinfected between patient or resident use. All stitching and labels on the wipe-down sling have been laminated to assist in infection control. Wipe down standing sling is made from a soft feel fabric which is comfortable and secure for patient and caregiver. Careful patient assessment should be carried out prior to use of a standing and raising aid to ensure patient can weight bare on at least one leg and also has sufficient upper and lower body tone. This sling may also be suitable for standing, stepping and walking practice, subject to suitable risk assessment.
