Welch Allyn PanOptic Handheld Ophthalmoscope With LED

This Welch Allyn ophthalmoscope has five times the field of view of standard ophthalmoscopes. That translates to 25 times as much viewing area of the fundus through an undilated eye. By being able to see so much of the eye at once, it’s easier to visualize changes to the retina. This helps identify possible signs of hypertension, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and papilledema.
The PanOptic ophthalmoscope is available with an internal halogen lamp that uses a half-moon aperture for identifying veins, arteries and nerves. If you need to identify foreign objects, you can also get this scope with either a halogen or LED lamp with a cobalt-blue filter.
