As a result of the unique electronic design of the Rectilinear Biphasic Waveform, at 200 J, ZOLL delivers more current to patients with impedances greater than 75 ohms than any other biphasic waveform – even ones that escalate to 360 J.
Two different human clinical studies have confirmed that the ZOLL Rectilinear Biphasic Waveform, with a maximum energy of 200 J, is superior to monophasic waveforms for cardioversion of atrial fibrillation and defibrillation of high impedance ventricular fibrillation.
