The Alere Universal Thermal Printer has been redesigned to include a USB connection and uses a space-saving AC adapter with a more durable printer connector. This printer can be used with the Alere Cholestech LDX as well as the Alere HemoPoint H2 Meter. It prints the test results onto thermal adhesive labels which can then be placed on a patient’s chart or on a handout to be given to the patient. The Printer Cable must be purchased separately as it is NOT included with the purchase of this printer.

- Perform a fingerstick and collect the sample with a capillary tube within 10 seconds.
- Dispense the sample into the test cassette.
